Abstract:Objective:To analyze the clinical characteristics, diagnosis and treatment plan, and prognostic factors of a patient with relapsed thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura(TTP),to provide more clinical evidence for the precise diagnosis and treatment of this rare disease. Methods:The clinical data of a patient with relapsed TTP who had previ-ously undergone standardized treatment were collected, including clinical manifestations and auxiliary examination re-sults,along with a review of relevant literature. Results:The patient was a 46-year—old male admitted to the hospital due to'discovery of thrombocytopenia for over 11 months'.based on clinical manifestations and related laboratory tests,he was diagnosed with relapsed TTP.After emergency treatment with plasma exchange, corticosteroids, and rit-uximab,his condition improved, and he was discharged. Conclusion:For acute TTP,emergency treatment with plasma exchange combined with corticosteroids should be initiated without waiting for laboratory results.Additionally,restar-ting anti-CD20 therapy for relapsed TTP patients appears to be a long-term treatment option for immune-mediated TTP(iTTP),which may reduce adverse risks during hospitalization. This approach is of significant importance in mini-mizing disease recurrence and mortality risks.
