Abstract:Objective:To examine the impact of integrating micro—lessons with scenario simulation training on the psychological wellbeing, occurrence of complications, and overall quality of life among patients who have undergone uri-nary tract ostomy surgery. Methods:Sixty patients who underwent urostomy surgery in our hospital from June 2022 to June 2024 were randomly selected and divided into two groups using a random number table method(control group and observation group). The control group received routine nursing interventions, while the observation group received mi-cro lessons combined with scenario simulation training. The adverse psychological mood, incidence of complications, quality of life and self-care ability of urostomy patients before and after nursing were compared between the two groups. Results:Compared with before nursing, the self rating anxiety scale(SAS)and self rating depression scale(SDS)scores of both groups of patients with urinary tract ostomy decreased after nursing, but the observation group was lower than the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group of patients with urinary tract ostomy was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).After nursing, the quality of life score(SF-36)of patients with urinary tract ostomy in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Compared with before nursing, the self-care ability scale(ESCA)score of the observation group after nursing was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Micro lessons combined with scenario simulation training can improve the psychological state of patients with urinary tract ostomy, reduce the incidence of complications, and enhance their quality of life and self-care ability.
