The role of knowledge popularization of rational drug use in improving the quality of basic pharmaceu-tical care

Abstract：Objective:The influence of the popularization of rational drug use knowledge on improving the quality of basic pharmaceutical care.Methods:From March 1,2024 to June 30,2024,500 patients with hypertension and diabetes(before popularization of science),aged 45～65,were selected from the Department of Internal Medicine and the De-partment of Traditional Chinese Medicine of the Second Peoplés Hospital of Urumqi Economic and Technological Develop-ment Zone(Toutunhe District)in Xinjiang.From July 1,2024 to October 31,2024,500 patients with hypertension and diabetes who were hospitalized in the Department of Internal Medicine and Chinese Medicine of the Second People's Hospital of Urumqi Economic and Technological Development Zone(Toutunhe District)in Xinjiang(after being popu-larized by pharmacists)were selected,aged45～65.Various popular science means such as electronic equipment,special lectures,network platforms,consultation service desks,distribution of medication guides and knowledge manuals have been used to carry out activities to popularize the knowledge of rational drug use.Results:In-patients' cognitive level of safe drug use and behavioral accuracy increased from 51.2％(256 cases)to 92.2％(461 cases),patients' awareness of clinical pharmacists and prescription pharmacists increased from 30.2％(151 cases)to 85.6％(428 cases),and patients' satisfaction with these two kinds of pharmacists also jumped from 50.2％(251 cases)to 89.The compliance rate of pa-tients increased from 59.6％(298 cases)to 97.0％(485 cases),and the incidence of clinically reported adverse drug re-actions decreased from 5.0％(25 cases)to 1.2％(6 cases).Conclusion:Before the experiment and after the selection of patient samples in cognition,number,age,gender,disease diagnosis and so on various aspects,the diversification of ra-tional drug use knowledge popularization activities,enhance the understanding of our inpatient drug science,to ensure the safe and safe,laid the foundation for the follow-up work of pharmaceutical knowledge popularization and guide the path.
