Abstract:Objective:To explore the diagnostic value of magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)and serum carbohy-drate antigen 125(CA125)levels in ovarian endometriosis. Methods:A total of 84 patients with suspected ovarian en-dometriosis who were treated in hospital from April 2023 to May 2024 were collected as the research subjects. After ad-mission,they all underwent MRI examination and serum CA125 level testing. The results of laparoscopic examination were used as the"gold standard"to analyze the diagnostic value and efficacy of MRI examination and serum CA125 for ovarian endometriosis, and the MRI indicators and serum CA125 levels between positive and negative patients were compared. Results:Using the results of laparoscopic examination as the gold standard, the results showed that among 84 patients suspected of having ovarian endometriosis,61 patientswere positive and 23 patientswere negative. The MRI di-agnosis results showed that 50 cases were positive and 34 cases were negative. The serum CA1 2 5 diagnosis results showed that 48 cases were positive and 36 cases were negative. The combined diagnosis results showed that 60 cases were positive and 24 cases were negative, the diagnostic sensitivity and accuracy of MRI combined with CA125 were 95.08%and 94.05%,respectively,which were higher than those of MRI alone(sensitivity 80.33%,accuracy 84.52%)and CA125 alone(sensitivity 75.41%,accuracy 79.76%).The missed diagnosis rate was 4.92%,which was lower than that of MRI(19.67%)and CA1 25(24.59%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The propor-tion of high signal intensity on T1WI and T2WI in positive patients was lower than that in negative patients, and the proportion of ovarian phase matching, intracystic septation, and fluid-fluid level in positive patients was higher than that in negative patients, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The serum CA125 level in positive patients was higher than that in negative patients, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:MRI combined with serum CA125 level has high diagnostic value for ovarian endometriosis, and can be used for early screen-ing and diagnosis in clinical practice to improve diagnostic accuracy.
