The influencing factors and nursing strategies of shame resistance level in patients with bipolar disorder

Abstract:Objective:To explore the influencing factors of shame resistance level in patients with bipolar disorder(BD),provide reference basis for the formulation of clinical nursing measures,promote the clinical benefits of BD pa-tients,and improve clinical rehabilitation effects.Methods:The data of 83 BD patients admitted to the third people's hospital of ganzhou city from June 2022 to December 2023 were collected,and the influencing factors of the level of shame resistance of BD patients were analyzed by using the scale of shame resistance(SRS),the scale of resilience(CD-RISC).Results:After evaluation,the SRS score of 83 BD patients was(67.60±6.16)points.The scores of course of disease,marital status,resilience and social support were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the scores of gender,age,place of residence,basic diseases,family monthly per capita income,work and ed-ucation level(P>0.05).Logistc regression analysis showed that the course of disease,marital status,psychological re-silience and social support were all influencing factors on the level of shame resistance of BD patients(P<0.05).Con-clusion:Patients with BD have lower levels of shame resistance,which may be related to lower levels of social support,lower psychological resilience,unmarried/divorced/widowed,and longer disease course.
