Abstract:Objective:To investigate the occurrence of sleep disorders during radiotherapy for lung cancer and ex-plore the risk factors associated with these sleep disorders. Methods:A total of 120 lung cancer patients who underwent radiotherapy at the first affiliated hospital of bengbu medical university from September 2021 to May 2024 were selected and divided into a normal sleep group(74 cases)and a sleep disorder group(46 cases)based on the athens insomnia scale(AIS)scores. The clinical data of the two groups were compared and analyzed, and univariate and multivariate Lo-gistic regression methods were used to explore the risk factors affecting the occurrence of sleep disorders in lung cancer patients during radiotherapy. Results:Among the 120 lung cancer patients,46 cases experienced sleep disturbances, with an incidence rate of 38.33%.The staging of the patients in the two groups was Ⅲ-Ⅳ,and the levels of interleukin-6(IL-6),C-reactive protein(CRP),tumor necrosis factor—α(TNF—α),radiotherapy dose ≥60 Gy,self-rating de-pression scale(SDS)score,self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)score and visual analogue scale(VAS)score were com-pared,with statistical significance(P<0.05).Logistic regression results showed that the stage Ⅲ~Ⅳ,anxiety and de-pression,radiotherapy dose ≥60 Gy and VAS score ≥4 were all risk factors for sleep disorder in lung cancer patients during radiotherapy(P<0.05).Conclusion:The occurrence of sleep disturbances during radiotherapy for lung cancer is relatively high.Advanced cancer stage(Ⅲ~Ⅳ),V AS score ≥ 4,abnormal anxiety and depression scores, and aradio-therapy dose≥60 Gy are independent risk factors for sleep disorders.
