A survey on the current situation and influencing factors of adversity quotient among operating room nurses in Guilin

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the level of adversity quotient among operating room nurses and analyze the in-fluencing factors.Methods:A questionnaire survey was conducted on 112 operating room nurses in Guilin from May to July 2023 using convenience sampling method to investigate the current situation of their stress quotient level,and a multi factor analysis was conducted to analyze the influencing factors.Results:The average adversity quotient score of operating room nurses was(117.48±18.33)points.Univariate analysis showed that there were differences in the lev-el of adversity quotient among nurses of different genders,professional titles,length of service,marital status,only child,whether choosing the operating room was a place of interest,and family support(P＜0.05).Multiple linear re-gression analysis showed that different age,length of service,professional title,and hospital level were the influencing factors on the prevention of urinary tract infections related to catheters among urology nurses(P＜0.05).Conclusion:The level of adversity quotient of operating room nurses is not high,and is influenced by a combination of factors such as professional title,length of service,whether choosing an operating room is for personal interests,and family support.Hospital managers should pay more attention to operating room nurses with low seniority,professional title,choosing an operating room not for personal interests,and low family support to help them improve their adversity quotient level and reduce talent loss.
