Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of ezetimibe combined with medium-low intensity atorvasta-tin in patients with coronary heart disease treated by percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).Methods:All 110 pa-tients with coronary heart disease who underwent PCI were divided into 2 groups according to random number table method, with 55 cases in each group. The control group was treated with atorvastatin while the observation group with ezetimibe on the basis of the control group. After 12 months of follow-up,the high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),serum total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),cardiac function parameters[left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD)and left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)]and the occurrence of adverse events were compared between the two groups Results:After 12 months of treatment, the levels of TC,TG,LDL-C,hsCRP and LVEDD in the obser-vation group were lower than those in the control group, and the levels of HDL-C and LVEF were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The rates of acute myocardial infarction, angina pectoris, stent restenosis and new coro-nary artery disease in observation group were lower than those in control group, and the difference was statistically sig-nificant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Ezetimibe combined with medium-low intensity atorvastatin can effectively reduce the levels of blood lipids and inflammatory factors in patients with coronary heart disease, improve the cardiac function of patients, and reduce the incidence of coronary artery disease and adverse events.
