Abstract:Objective:To explore the application of continuous folding suture of lower uterine segment(LUS)in ce-sarean section of scar uterine pregnant women. Methods:A retrospective analysis of 82 scar uterus pregnant women ad-mitted to hospital from January 2021 to August 2023,which were divided into two groups according to different treat-ment methods, with 41 cases in each group. Both groups underwent cesarean section in hospital,in which the control group used conventional suture+dioxytocin, and the observation group used LUS continuous folding suture.Hemosta-sis time, blood loss, blood transfusion, hospital stay, coagulation factor[angiotensin Ⅱ(AngⅡ),coagulation factor Ⅷ,coagulation factor Ⅸ,platelet],hemoglobin(Hb)level and complications were compared between the two groups.Re-sults:The hemostasis time and hospitalization time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the amount of bleeding at 2 h,24 h and blood transfusion was less than that in the control group, with statis-tical significance(P<0.05).One day after delivery, the levels of AngⅡ,coagulation factor Ⅷ,coagulation factor Ⅷ,platelet and Hb in the observation group were higher than those in the control group with statistical significance(P<0.05).The incidence of postpartum complications in the observation group(19.51%)was lower than that in the con-trol group(41.46%),with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion:LUS continuous folding suture shows a sig-nificant role in cesarean section in scar uterine pregnant women, which can effectively improve coagulation function,con-trol bleeding, reduce blood transfusion amount, shorten hospital stay, and reduce the risk of postpartum complications.
