The effect of livemin combined with sex hormone replacement therapy in the treatment of perimenopa-usal syndrome patients

Abstract：Objective:To explore the effect of Livemin combined with sex hormone replacement therapy in the treat-ment of perimenopausal syndrome(PMS).Methods:All 122 patients with PMS who were treated in hospital from Jan-uary 2022 to January 2024 were randomly divided into two groups.The control group of 61 patients received hormone replacement therapy,while the observation group of 61 patients received the same treatment as the control group plus lifumin.The sex hormones,endometrial thickness,total score of the menopausal quality of life scale(MENQOL),bone density,and vitamin D3 levels were compared between the two groups.Results:The total effective rate of observation group group was higher than that of control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,the levels of follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH),luteinizing hormone(LH),and MENQOL score of the observation was lower than the control group.After treatment,the levels of progesterone(P),estradiol(E2),vitamin D3,bone mineral density and endometrial thickness were higher than before treatment,and the observation group was higher than the control group,with statistical significance(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Patients with PMS who receive treat-ment with Livemin and sex hormone replacement therapy can regulate their sex hormone levels,increase endometrial thickness,improve bone density,increase vitamin D3 levels,alleviate clinical symptoms,and improve quality of life.
