Director Chen Qingying's clinical experience in treating chronic cough in children based on data mining analysis

Abstract:Objective:To summarize Director Chen Qingying's clinical experience in treating chronic cough in chil-dren based on data mining.Method:A total of 220 children with chronic cough who visited the department of pediatrics at ganzhou traditional chinese medicine hospital from June 2023 to June 2024(treated by Director Chen Qingying)were selected for statistical analysis of the Chinese herbal medicines included in the prescription,and a database was con-structed based on this data.Through the application of the traditional Chinese medicine inheritance assistance system(V2.5),statistics were conducted on the following aspects of traditional Chinese medicine:four qi,guijing distribution,five flavors,usage frequency.Additionally,analyze the following aspects:prescription rules,core traditional chinese medicine,new combination.Results:A total of 382 prescriptions were collected,involving 101 traditional Chinese medi-cines,with a total usage frequency of 6 117 times.Among the 101 traditional Chinese medicines involved in the prescrip-tion,both warm and cold herbs have a high frequency of use for the four qi,accounting for 45.10%and 29.36%respec-tively.Among the five flavors,bitter and pungent Chinese herbal medicines are used more frequently,accounting for 35.02%and 26.92%respectively.The frequency of using traditional Chinese medicine for the gui lung meridian is 29.70%,for the gui stomach meridian it is 17.97%,and for the gui spleen meridian it is 15.69%.Their frequency of use is relatively high among all gui meridians.Among various traditional Chinese medicines,there are 3 herbs with a usage frequency of≥190 times,namely:Chenpi,Chenpi Aster,Fa Banxia,Poria cocos.In the combination of traditional Chinese medicine,there are a total of 16 groups with a frequency of use greater than 100 times,and 11 core Chinese medicines(such as fritillaria thunbergii,chenpi peel,pinellia ternata,dilong,et al).Conclusion:Director Chen Qingying focuses on the path-ogenesis of chronic cough in children,and the selected traditional Chinese medicines are mostly those with bitter taste and warm and cold nature,and are good at treating from the spleen meridian,lung meridian,and stomach meridian.A-mong the traditional Chinese medicines used,there are a total of 11 core Chinese medicines that can be treated according to the patient's condition.
