Abstract:Objective:To explore the clinical strategies to improve the pregnancy outcome of in vitro fertilization—embryo transfer(IVF—ET)in elderly infertile patients. Methods:A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clini-cal data of 80 elderly female patients who received IVF—ET assisted pregnancy treatment in xinyu maternal and child health hospital from January 2020 to December 2023.According to the treatment method, they were divided into two groups:the control group(39 cases)received conventional treatment, and the observation group(41 cases)received growth hormone(GH)pretreatment+dual trigger[gonadotropin—releasing hormone agonist(GnRH—a),human chorionic gonadotropin(HCG)]treatment on the basis of their treatment. The ovulation induction effect, hormone lev-els,endometrial thickness, and clinical pregnancy outcomes of the two groups were compared. Results:After the treat-ment,the fertilization rate, average number of retrieved eggs, high—quality embryo rate, and cleavage rate, endometrial thickness and follicle output rate(FORT)of the observation group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).The clinical pregnancy rate in the observation group was 56.10%higher than that in the control group, which was 33.33%(P<0.05),and there was no difference in the natural abortion rate between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:By adjusting clinical strategies such as growth hormone pre—treatment and HCG daily use of dual triggers, hormone sensi-tivity can be adjusted in elderly infertility patients, endometrial thickness can be increased,IVF—ET ovulation induction effect can be enhanced, and pregnancy outcomes can be improved.
