Analysis of the application effect of oral care in hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage coma patients

Abstract:Objective:To explore the nursing effect of oral care on patients with hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage in coma.Methods:All 70 patients diagnosed as hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage with shallow coma in the department of neurosurgery of fuzhou first people's hospital from January 2022 to December 2023 were selected as the study ob-jects.The patients were divided into the observation group and the control group with 35 cases in each group.The con-trol group received routine nursing,and the observation group received oral nursing intervention.The incidence of oral malodor,the operation time of oral nursing,the occurrence of patients with hypostatic pneumonia,the retention time of gastric tube,the excretion of stool in the first week of hospitalization and the changes in nursing satisfaction in the two groups were observed and compared.Results:After intervention,the oral quality of observation group was significantly better than that of control group(P<0.05).The indwelling time of gastric tube in observation group was shorter than that in control group(P<0.05).The defecation rate in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group in the first week of admission(P<0.05).The incidence of falling pneumonia in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction of patients in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Oral nursing intervention can improve the o-ral quality of patients with hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage and shallow coma.It can improve the prognosis and the nursing satisfaction of patients and their families.
