Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effect of external application of pulsatilla combined with rivaroxaban in the treatment of lower extremity deep vein thrombosis in patients with malignant tumors and its effect on patients long-term outcome. Methods:From July 2022 to June 2025,60 patients with malignant tumors combined with lower extremi-ty deep vein thrombosis were selected, and the patients were assigned to the observation group and the control group u-sing the randomized numeric table method,30 cases in each group. The control group received rivaroxaban treatment only, and the observation group added externally applied pulsatilla on top of rivaroxaban,to assess the difference in therapeutic effects between the two treatment methods. Results:The levels of D-dimer,fibrinogen in the observation group were lower than the control group, while the plasma prothrombin time, activated partial thromboplastin time in observation group were higher than those in control group. The difference of circumference of thigh and calf in observa-tion group was lower than the control group, and the quality of life score was higher than that in control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion:After the treatment with the external application of pulsatilla and rivar-oxaban,the difference in the circumference of the lower limbs of the patients was reduced, the coagulation function was improved, and the quality of life was improved.
