Application research of the teaching method of integrating knowledge and action in cardiopulmonary re-suscitation skill training for medical students

Abstract：Objective:To explore the application effect of the teaching method of integrating knowledge and action in the cardiopulmonary resuscitation skill training for medical students.Methods:Medical students majoring in 5+3 in-tegrated clinical medicine of Shanxi University of Science and Technology were selected as the research objects.The students of grade 2018 were the control group and those of grade 2020 were the experimental group,with a total of 108 people.The control group was trained in cardiopulmonary resuscitation skills by traditional teaching methods,while the experimental group was trained by the teaching method of integrating knowledge,action and practice.By comparing the theoretical and skill test scores between the experimental group and the control group,the satisfaction and training effect of the teaching method of integrating knowledge,action and practice were evaluated.Results:The theoretical test scores and skill scores of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The training effect(the practical ability to cardiopulmonary resuscitation and confi-dence in participating in cardiopulmonary resuscitation)of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).In the questionnaire survey,the satisfaction of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion:The teaching method of integrating knowledge,action and practice has a significant application effect in emergency cardiopulmonary resuscitation teaching.It can improve students'academic performance and teaching satis-faction.
