Effect of anluohuaxian pill on immune factors in elderly patients with hepatitis B

Abstract：Objective:This study was aimed to explore the effects of AnluoHuaxian pill combined with nucleotide drugs on immune function and prognosis of elderly patients with hepatitis B.Methods:Elderly patients with hepatitis B treated in hospital from January 2021 to December 2023 were selected as the study objects.A total of 148 elderly pa-tients with hepatitis B were included in this study and randomly divided into observation group and control group,with 74 patients in each group.The control group was given entecavir orally.The observation group was given anluohuxian pill orally on the basis of the treatment of the control group.The course of treatment in both groups was 3 months,and the follow-up was 6 months.The differences of serological markers such as liver function,liver fibrosis,inflammatory factors,immune function and prognosis were compared between the two groups.Results:Before treatment,there was no significant difference in serum markers of liver function,liver fibrosis,inflammatory factors and immune function be-tween the two groups(P＞0.05).After treatment,the levels of serum laminin(LN),procollagen Ⅲ(PCⅢ),hyaluron-ic acid(HA),procollagen Ⅳ(Ⅳ-C)and the levels of alanine transaminase(ALT),aspartate transaminase(AST)and total bilirubin(TbIL)in both groups were lower than those before treatment,and the observation group was lower than the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,the serum levels of albu-min(ALB)and differentiation cluster 3(CD3),CD4,CD4/CD8 in the two groups were higher than those before treat-ment,and the serum levels in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the serum levels of tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-6(IL-6),highsensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP)and CD8 in both groups were lower than those before treatment,and the tumor necrosis factors lev-els in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,the difference was significant(P＜0.05).With-in 6 months,the DNA of hepatitis B virus(HBV)-DNA and hepatitis B surface antigen(HBeAg)in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Anluohuaxian pill combined with nucleotide drugs can promote the recovery of immune function and liver function,reduce inflammatory reaction and liver fibrosis,and improve prognosis in elderly patients with hepatitis B.
