Abstract:Objective:To explore the application effect of nursing interventions based on the information motivation behavior skills(IMB)model in children with nephroblastoma. Methods:Sixty children with nephroblastoma admitted to Jiangxi Children's Hospital from January 2019 to August 2022 were selected as the study subjects. They were divided into a control group(30 cases)and an observation group(30 cases)using computer software RandA1.0.The control group received routine care, while the observation group received nursing interventions based on the IMB model. The psychological status, nursing compliance, quality of life and satisfaction of family members were compared between the two groups. Results:Before intervention, there was no statistically significant difference in anxiety and depression scores between the two groups(P>0.05).After intervention, the anxiety and depression scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total compliance rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Before intervention, there was no statistically significant difference in the scores of quality of life indicators such as physiological function, psychological function, social function, and physical function between the two groups of patients(P>0.05).After intervention, the scores of various quality of life indicators in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The satisfaction of family members in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion:Nursing interventions based on the IMB model can alleviate the psychological state of family members, improve nursing compliance, and improve the quality of life in children with nephroblastoma.
