Analysis of emergency treatment experience and clinical effect of severe chest trauma

Abstract：Objective:To analyze the emergency treatment experience and clinical effect of severe chest trauma.Methods:All 37 cases of severe chest trauma who were treated from November 2022 to November 2023 were reviewed retrospectively,its clinical datas,treatment experience and effect were compared.Results:The most common cause is traffic trauma in 37 cases.followed by fall from height and heavy object injuries.32 cases of closed thoracic trauma,5 cases of open thoracic trauma,21 cases of craniocerebral injury,8 cases of abdominal injury,13 cases of limbs,pelvis and spine fracture.The emergency operations in 26 cases and elective operations in 12 cases were performed.31 cases were cured,3 cases gave up treatment automatically,3 cases died,the cure rate was 83.8%.Conclusion:The severe chest trauma was usually combined with other organ injury.The mortality was high and treatment difficult.Once the patient was received,the green life-saving channel should be opened,fluid resuscitation and operation with surgical indications should be as early as possible.At the same time,multi-disciplinary cooperation should be enhanced in order to improve the success rate of treatment.
