Abstract:Objective:To explore the application value of abdominal respiration combined with aerosol inhalation in the perioperative nursing of accelerated rehabilitation surgery for elderly patients with gastrointestinal surgery.Meth-ods:A total of 120 elderly patients undergoing gastrointestinal surgery in Ganzhou Municipal Hospital from October 2021 to October 2022 were selected and randomly divided into control group and observation group with 60 patients in each group. The patients in the control group were received aerosol inhalation based on perioperative accelerated reha-bilitation surgical nursing, while the patients in the observation group were received abdominal breathing combined with aerosol inhalation during perioperative accelerated rehabilitation surgical nursing. The first second forced expiratory vol-ume(FEV1),forced vital capacity(FVC),maximum expiratory flow(PEF),the percentage of forced expiratory vol-ume in the predicted value(FEV 1%pred)and the level of FEV1/FVC in the two groups were observed respectively, and the operative tolerance and incidence of postoperative pulmonary complications were recorded in the two groups. To evaluate the application value of abdominal respiration combined with nebulizer inhalation in accelerated perioperative rehabilitation surgery nursing for elderly patients. Results:The FEV1,FVC,PEF,FEV1%pred and FEV1/FVC in the observation group at 7 days after surgery were higher than those in the control group, the degree of operation tolerance was higher than that in the control group, and the incidence of postoperative pulmonary complications was lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The use of abdominal respi-ration combined with aerosol inhalation in the perioperative nursing of accelerated rehabilitation surgery in elderly pa-tients with gastrointestinal surgery can effectively improve the lung function, enhance the degree of surgical tolerance, and inhibit the occurrence of postoperative lung complications.
