Abstract:Objective:To investigate the status quo of feeding intolerance in patients with severe pneumonia after novel coronavirus infection during prone position mechanical ventilation, and to analyze its influencing factors. Methods:Fifty patients with severe pneumonia after novel coronavirus infection were selected from October 2022 to March 2023.The clinical data of the patients were collected through the hospital electronic medical record system, and the status quo of feeding intolerance was analyzed,Logistic regression was used to analyze the influencing factors. Results:Feeding in-tolerance was found in 33(66%)of 50 patients.Logistic regression analysis showed that albumin level,no use of gastric motility drugs or probiotics, and nasogastric tube were the influencing factors of feeding intolerance(P<0.05).Conclu-sion:There is a high incidence of feeding intolerance in patients with severe novel coronavirus pneumonia during prone position mechanical ventilation.Dynamic evaluation should be conducted during enteral nutrition support therapy to ac-tively correct hypoproteinemia, rationally use gastric motility drugs or probiotics, and select appropriate feeding path-ways to reduce the occurrence of feeding intolerance.
