Application of airway clearance intervention combined with acupoint application in patients with bron-chiectasis and its effect on lung function

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the application of airway clearance intervention combined with acupoint appli-cation in patients with bronchiectasis and its effect on lung function.Methods:Seventy patients with bronchiectasis ad-mitted to our hospital from February 2020 to January 2023 were selected and divided into test group and reference group according to envelope method.The control group received routine nursing intervention measures,and the observa-tion group was given airway clearance combined with acupoint application intervention.The pulmonary function level,daily sputum volume and exercise endurance indexes of the two groups were compared before and after intervention.The phlegm viscosity of the two groups was observed after intervention,and the incidence of complications was com-pared between the two groups.Results:Compared with the control group,the levels of forced vital capacity(FVC),forced expiratory volume in 1 s(FEV1)and maximal expiratory flow(PEF)in observation group were higher after in-tervention(P＜0.05).Compared with the reference group,the daily sputum volume of observation group was higher and the sputum viscosity was better after intervention(P＜0.05).Compared with the control group,6-min walking distance test(6MWD)and COPD assessment test(CAT)scores in observation group were higher after intervention(P＜0.05).Compared with the control group,the complication rate of observation group was lower(P＜0.05).Conclu-sion:Airway clearance intervention combined with acupoint application can improve lung function and exercise endur-ance reduce complications in patients with bronchiectasis.
