Clinical application of endoscopic disc staining in lumbar endoscopy

Abstract:Objective:To investigate the clinical application value of endoscopic disc staining in lumbar endoscopy. Methods:Fifty patients with lumbar disc herniation(LDH)who were to be treated by lateral and posterior foraminos-copy in hospital from January 2021 to February 2023 were selected and divided into study group and control group with 25 cases in each group according to random number table method. The study group was the group with endoscopic disc staining, and the control group was the group without endoscopic disc staining.Perioperative indexes, pain degree,lum-bar function and complications were compared between the two groups. Results:Compared with the control group, the operation time of the study group was shorter, the amount of nucleus pulposus extraction was more, and the number of effective fluoroscopy was less(P<0.05).The score of oswestry disability index(ODI)and visual analogue scale(VAS)of the two groups were lower after surgery, and the score of the study group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of complications between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:The use of endoscopic disc staining in lateral and posterior foraminoscopic surgery can effectively shorten the operation time, reduce the number of fluoroscopy, increase the amount of nucleus pulposus extraction,re-duce the degree of pain, and better improve the lumbar function.
