The value of shugan yishen tang in postoperative endometrial cancer radical surgery

Abstract：Objective:To analyze the value of shugan yishen tang in treating patients with endometrial cancer under-going radical surgery.Methods:All 102 patients with endometrial cancer who underwent radical surgery from April 2020 to January 2023 were selected as the study subjects.They were randomly divided into a control group(51 cases)and an observation group(51 cases)using a random number table method.The control group received routine western medicine treatment after surgery,while the observation group received additional treatment with shugan yishen tang.The pain scores,immune function,quality of life,and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results:Before treatment,there were no significant differences in pain scores,immune function indexes and tumor markers between the two groups(P＞0.05).After treatment,the scores of pain,the levels of immunoglobulin G(IgG),immunoglobulin a(IgA)and tumor markers in the two groups were lower than those before treatment,and those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the levels of natural killer cell(NK)and clusterofdifferentiation 4+(CD4+)in the two groups were significantly higher than those before treatment,and the levels of NK and CD4+in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the levels of NK and CD4+in the natural killer cell group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the total scores of quality of life and the scores of all items in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).The patients in both groups were followed up for 6 months without recurrence.Conclusion:After radical surgery for endom-etrial cancer patients,supplementing with shugan yishen tang can alleviate postoperative pain,promote immune function recovery,and improve quality of life.
