Application of color Doppler ultrasound and MRI in the clinical diagnosis of patients with liver cirrhosis

Abstract：Objective:To study the application value of color doppler ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)in the clinical diagnosis of patients with liver cirrhosis.Methods:The clinical data of 82 patients with cirrhosis who were admitted to hospital from June 31,2020 to June 31,2022 were retrospectively analyzed.The patients with non-cirrhosis were taken as the control group(n=47)and the patients with cirrhosis as the observation group(n=35).According to the final diagnosis,the diagnostic parameters of color doppler ultrasound and MRI in the two groups were compared,and the receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC)curve was drawn to analyze the parameters and their combined diagnostic value.Results:There were significant differences in portal vein diameter,blood flow velocity,blood flow and splenic vein diameter and blood flow between the two groups(P＜0.05).Among the parameters of color Doppler ultrasound,the area under curve(AUC)value of portal vein flow velocity in diagnosis of cirrhosis was the highest,0.794(Z=5.760,P＜0.05),and the AUC value of color Doppler ultrasound combined with all parameters in diagnosis of cirrhosis was 0.830(Z=6.797,P＜0.05).There were significant differences in MRI parameters between the two groups(P＜0.05).Among the parameters of MRI,the AUC value of mean transit time(MTT)in diagnosis of cirrhosis was the highest,0.845(Z=6.961,P＜0.05),and the AUC value of combined MRI parameters in diagnosis of cirrhosis was 0.861(Z=7.754,P＜0.05).The sensitivity and specificity of color Doppler ultrasound in the diagnosis of liver cirrhosis were 74.29％and 85.11％respectively.The sensitivity and specificity of MRI in the diagnosis of liver cirrhosis were 77.14％and 87.23％respectively.The AUC value of MRI in the diagnosis of liver cirrhosis was higher than that of color Doppler ultrasound.Conclusion:Both color Doppler ultrasound and MRI can effectively diagnose cir-rhosis,and the AUC value is higher,and MRI has higher sensitivity and specificity in diagnosing cirrhosis.
