Clinical observation on the treatment of premenses by nourishing yin and clearing heat

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the effect of nourishing yin and clearing heat in the treatment of patients with premenstrual period.Methods:A total of 80 patients with premenstruation admitted to the hospital from January 2022 to January 2023 were randomly divided into 2 groups,40 cases in each group.The control group was treated with dydrogesterone,and the observation group was treated with yin-clearing heat method(liangdi decoction),both groups were treated for 1 course of treatment.The therapeutic effect,TCM symptom score,progesterone(P),basal body tem-perature,menstrual cycle and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05),after treatment,the TCM symptom scores of the two groups decreased,and the observation group was lower than that of the control group(P＜0.05),the level of P and high temperature phase scoring(HPS)were increased in both groups,and the observation group was higher than that in the control group.The days of menstruation earlier in both groups were decreased,and the observa-tion group was less than that in the control group,the difference was significant(P＜0.05).No adverse reaction oc-curred in both groups during the treatment.Conclusion:The treatment effect of nourishing Yin and clearing heat in pa-tients with premenstrual period is satisfactory,which can effectively improve the menstrual cycle,P level and basal body temperature,and has high safety.
