Influence of TCM characteristic systematic nursing combined with accelerated rehabilitation concept on postoperative recovery of patients with acute cholecystitis after cholecystectomy

Abstract：Objective:To explore the influence of traditional Chinese medicine characteristic systematic nursing combined with accelerated rehabilitation concept(ERAS)on the postoperative recovery of patients with acute cholecys-titis(AC)and laparoscopic cholecystectomy(LC).Methods:All 102 AC patients from May 2020 to July 2022 were randomly divided into observation group(n=51)and control group(n=51).The control group received routine care,while the observation group received intervention using traditional Chinese medicine characteristic system nursing com-bined with ERAS mode on the basis of the control group.The intervention lasted for 7 days.The recovery and postoper-ative complication rates of the two groups of patients during the intervention period were compared.The treatment compliance of the two groups of patients before and 7 days after the intervention[Chinese version of the medication be-lief specific questionnaire(BMQ-Specific)],as well as the differences in postoperative pain levels[visual analog scale(VAS)]and comfort levels[GCQ)]at 6h,24h,and 72h were compared.Results:After intervention,the observation group had shorter hospitalization,recovery of bowel sounds,anal exhaust,and ambulatory time compared to the control group(P＜0.05).The total incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05).Both groups of patients had higher BMQ-Specific scores than before intervention,and the observa-tion group had higher scores than the control group(P＜0.05).The VAS scores of both groups of patients at 24 and 72 hours after surgery gradually decreased compared to 6 hours after surgery,and the observation group had lower scores than the control group(P＜0.05).The GCQ scores of both groups of patients at 24 and 72 hours after surgery gradually increased compared to 6 hours after surgery,and the observation group had higher scores than the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion:The combination of traditional Chinese medicine characteristic system nursing and ERAS concept effectively shortens the recovery time of AC patients after LC surgery,reduces the incidence of complications,and improves patient treatment compliance,pain level,and comfort.
