Abstract:Objective:To explore the relationship between the levels of serum anti-myeloperoxidase antibody(MPO),LncRNAmaternal-ly expressed gene 3(LncRNA MEG3)and homocysteine(Hcy)in acute ischemic stroke(AIS)and the volume of cerebral infarction and the degree of neurological deficit. Methods:All 100 cases of AIS pa-tients admitted to hospital during March 2021 to March 2023 were included as observation subjects, and 100 cases of healthy people with physical examination admitted during the same period were included as control group, and the posi-tive rates of serum Hey,LncRNA MEG3 and anti-MPO were detected in the two groups respectively.According to the volume of cerebral infarction, the patients in the observation group were divided into small area group(d<2 cm,n=42),medium area group(2≤d<5 cm,n=30)and large area group(d≥5 cm,n=28),and according to the National In-stitutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)they were classified into the light group(NIHSS score<5,n=40),medium group(5≤NIHSS score≤20,n=28)and heavy group(NIHSS score>2 0,n=32),serum factor levels were compared between the groups and correlation analysis was performed using Pearson correlation analysis. Results:The positive rates of serum Hey,LncRNA MEG3 and anti-MPO in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).As the patients'infarct volume and NIHSS score increased, their serum Hcy and LncRNA MEG3 levels tended to increase, and the positive rate of anti-MPO positivity was also significantly higher(P<0.05).The positive rates of AIS patients'serum LncRNA MEG3,Hcy levels and anti-MPO positivity rate positivity rate were positively correlated with their cerebral infarction volume and NIHSS score(P<0.05).Conclusion:The higher the pos-itive rate of anti-MPO and the levels of Hcy and LncRNA MEG3 in AIS patients, the more serious the neurological deficit and the larger the area of cerebral infarction.
