Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effect of intracavitary embolization in the treatment of high-grade sub-arachnoid aneurysm hemorrhage(PaSAH).Methods:A total of 85 PaSAH patients admitted to hospital from January 2021 to May 2023 were selected and divided into control group(42 cases)and observation group(43 cases)with endo-vascular embolization according to computer grouping method. The prognosis[glasgow prognosis scale(GOS)],vascu-lar endothelial function[serum endothelin-1(ET-1),vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF),nitric oxide syn-thase(NOS)levels],neurological function[stroke scale(NTHSS)]and postoperative complications of the two groups were observed. Results:The prognosis of the observation group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).Before surgery, there was no significant difference in the levels of ET-1,VEGF and NOS between the two groups(P>0.05).14 days after surgery, the levels of ET-1,VEGF and NOS in the two groups were decreased, and the above levels in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Before surgery, there was no significant difference in NTHSS score between the two groups(P>0.05).14 days after surgery,NTHSS score in both groups was decreased, and the above score in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Within 3 months after operation, the incidence of postoperative complications was 9.30%in the observation group and 28.57%in the control group, with statistical difference between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion:Endovascular embolization with spring coil can promote the recovery of endothelial vascular function and nerve function in patients with PaSAH,reduce the incidence of postoperative complications, and effectively improve the prognosis.
