Observation on the effect of an intervention model based on adult learning theory applied to patients af-ter limb fracture surgery

Abstract:Objective:To explore the effect of an intervention model based on adult learning theory applied to pa-tients with limb fractures.Methods:A total of 144 patients with limb fractures who were treated from March 2020 to March 2021 were selected and randomly divided into two groups,with 72 cases in each group.The control group was applied with the conventional intervention mode,and the observation group was applied with the intervention mode based on adult learning theory.Results:The self-efficacy and quality of life in the observation group after intervention was higher than that of the control group,the degree of swelling and pain,the incidence of postoperative complications was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of intervention based on adult learning theory in patients with limb fractures can gradually enhance their self-efficacy,relieve limb swelling and pain,effec-tively reduce the occurrence of postoperative complications,and improve their quality of life.
