Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effect of wheat moxibustion combined with transacupuncture in patients with peripheral facial paralysis(PFP)with wind cold syndrome. Methods:A total of 80 patients with PFP with wind-cold syndrome admitted to hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 were divided into two groups with 40 cases each. The control group was treated with acupuncture, and the observation group was treated with wheat moxibustion combined with transstab therapy. The therapeutic effect, facial nerve function,House-Brackmann(H-B)facial nerve function grade and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results:After treatmont,The total effec-tive rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, sunybrook fa-cial nerve score in both groups was higher than before treatment, and the observation group was higher than the control group, with statistical difference(P<0.05).After treatment,H-B grading in both groups was better than before treatment, and observation group was better than control group, with statistical difference(P<0.05).No adverse reac-tions occurred in both groups during treatment. Conclusion:The effect of wheat moxibustion combined with penetrating acupuncture on PFP patients with wind cold syndrome is satisfactory, and it can promote the recovery of facial nerve function with good safety.
