Abstract:Objective:To investigate the concentration level of blood cell related parameters of healthy children in Dujiangyan of Sichuan, and verify the suitability of WS/T779-2021 reference interval for blood cell analysis in this population. Methods:According to the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria of reference individuals in the WS/T779-2021 health industry standard,203 apparently healthy individuals were selected from the 2~<6 year oldpopulation who underwent physical examination from January to May 2022.They were divided into Group A and group B accord-ing to their ages. There were 102 cases in group A(2~<4 years old)and 101 cases in group B(4~<6 years old). The results of routine blood test were analyzed by mindray BC6000 plus blood cell analyzer and compared with the ref-erence interval of WS/T779-2021,to verify whether the ratio(coincidence rate)of blood cell analysis parameters dis-tributed within the reference range by the row standard is≥90%.A compliance rate of ≥90%indicates that the refer-ence interval is validated, and if it is not validated, the appropriate reference interval is established or referenced accord-ing to WS/T402.Results:The concentrations of blood cells and their serial parameters in Group A and B were all≥90%,and all fell within the reference range of Chinese children's blood cell analysis provided by WS/T779-2021.Con-clusion:More than 90%of the test results fall within the reference range provided by the industry standard WS/T779-2021,and their reference ranges are verified. So this reference interval is applicable to Dujiangyan area and can be di-rectly referenced in this area.
