Abstract:Objective:To observe the effect of low-frequency pulsed electrical stimulation combined with acupunc-ture on walking ability in stroke patients with foot drop. Methods:A total of 104 stroke patients with foot drop admit-ted between October,2021 and December,2022 were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, with 52 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional drug therapy and rehabilitation therapy, and the observation group was treated with low-frequency pulse electrical stimulation and acupuncture on the basis of the control group. The treatment effect, lower limb motor function, walking ability and daily living ability before and af-ter treatment were compared between the two groups. Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was sig-nificantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant in the Fugl-Meyer motor function assessment(FMA)score,10 m walking speed and modified Barthel index(MBI)between the two groups before treat-ment(P>0.05).After treatment, the FMA score,10m walking speed and MBI score were significantly increased(P<0.05),and those in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclu-sion:Low-frequency pulsed electrical stimulation combined with acupuncture can effectively improve the therapeutic effect on stroke patients with foot drop, improve limb function, walking ability and daily living ability.
