Abstract:Objective:To analyze the value of two dimensional speckle tracking imaging(2D-STI)in evaluating left ventricular function in patients with severe burns. Methods:All 60 patients with severe burn from May 2020 to May 2022 were randomly selected to be included in observation group, and 60 healthy subjects were randomly selected to be included in control group during the same period.Left ventricular function was detected by 2D-STI and the test results were compared. Results:There were little differences in left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD)and left ventricular end-systolic diameter(LVESD)between two groups(P>0.05).The end-diastolic septal thickness(IVST),left ventricular posterior wall thickness(LVPW),left ventricular mass in-dex(LVMI),global longitudinal strain(GLS),global circumferential strain(GCS)of observation group was higher than that control group. The posterior septal displacement of mitral ring(TMADIs),anterior septal displacement of mi-tral ring(TMADAS),anterior wall displacement of mitral ring TMADAN,and lateral wall displacement of mitral ring(TMADAL),posterior wall displacement of mitral ring(TMADIL),lower wall displacement of mitral ring(TMADIN)and global displacement of mitral ring(TMADglobal)of observation group were lower than those in control group(P<0.05).The longitudinal strain of posterior left ventricular septum(LSRIs),the longitudinal strain of anterior left ven-tricular septum(LSRAS),the longitudinal strain of anterior left ventricular wall(LSRAN),and the longitudinal strain of lateral left ventricular wall(LSRAL),Longitudinal strain of left ventricular posterior wall?(LSRIL)and Longitudinal strain of left ventricular inferior wall(LSRIN)were higher than those of other groups(P<0.05).Conclusion:Patients with severe burns have left ventricular dysfunction of different degrees. The detection of relevant indicators of left ventricular function using 2D-STI can provide reference data for clinicians to make treatment plans, which is conducive to improving the effectiveness and safety of treatment plans and laying a foundation for patients to obtain an ideal prognosis.
