Efficacy analysis of dihuangye total glycoside capsule combined with irbesartan in treatment of the early diabetic nephropathy

Abstract：Objective:To evaluate the effect of Dihuangye total glycoside capsule combined with Irbesartan treatment on the patients with early diabetic nephropathy(DN).Methods:All 96 patients with early DN were randomly divided into treatment and control groups.48 cases of the control group were given Irbesartan 150 mg once a day,the treatment group of 48 cases of was given Dihuangye total glycoside capsule 0.4 g three times a day ombined with Irbesartan 150 mg once a day,two groups were treated for 12 weeks.Before and after treatment,the levels of systolic blood pressure (SBP),glycosy lated hemoglobin(HbA1c),serum creatinine(Scr),blood urea nitrogen(BUN),serum cystatin(Cys-C) and urinary albumin excretion rate(UAER) were observed.Results:The levels of SBP,Scr and BUN had no significant changes in two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05).Compared with before treatment,the levels of HbA1c,Cys-C,UAER were decreased significantly in treatment group after treatment(P<0.05).Conclusions:Dihuangye total glycoside capsule and Irbesartan could effectively reverse or delay the Cys-C and UAER.
