Abstract：Objective:To research the clinical curative effect of applying the homemade icy aloe extract gargling to prevent the oral mucositis caused by chemotherapy in hematological patients. Methods:To decide the 401 case-times patients random-ly to two groups,201 case-times in treatment group,and the 200 case-times in control group. The treatment group is gargling with homemade icy aloe extract,and the control group with the mixed liquor of normal saline combined with metronidazole and nystatin. Seven days is a course of treatment,and lateran to evaluate the effect of the two groups after one weeks. Results:The effective rate is 97. 51﹪ in treatment group,and 42. 00﹪ in control group. The difference between two groups is statistically significant(P﹤0. 05). Conclusion:The effect is significant with the homemade icy aloe extract gargling to prevention and cure the oral mucositis caused by chemotherapy in hematological malignancies patients. It is economical and practical,and accepta-ble for patients.
