Abstract:Objective:To investigate the distribution and the drug resistance of the P. aeruginosa which isolated from dif-ferent sites of infection and different clinical department. Methods:Collect 504 P. aeruginosa isolates from the hospitalized pa-tients,the antibiotic suscepitibility testing was performed with K-B method then the results were statistically analyzed by the software WHONET 5. 6. Results:The P. aeruginosa strains were mainly isolated from the lower respiratory specimen(75. 2﹪), most of them were obtained from the patients of ICU,neurology department, respiratory medicine department and neurosurgery department. Cefoperazone /sulbactam and imipenem performed a higher drug resistance. The differences of the drug resistance of P. aeruginosa strains which isolated from different sites of infection and different clinical departments were statistically sig-inificance(P﹤0. 05). Conclution:The key departments for the hospital infection control still were ICU,neurology department, respiratory medicine department and neurosurgery department. It is necessary to enhance the management of the use of cefoper-azone /sulbactam and imipenem as well as to monitor the drug resistance of the P. aeruginosa strains so as to reduce the grow-ing of the drug-resistance strains.
