Abstract:Objective:To explore the clinical effect of ultrasonic testing for high blood pressure in patients with cervical atherosclerosis. Methods:From August 2015 to March 2016,43 hypertension cases were selected. 43 cases age - matched healthy subjects as control group, the carotid artery was detected by ultrasonography in both groups. Results:In the observation group, the common carotid artery diameter( CADIA)enlarged and the common carotid arterial thickness( CAIMT)was thick-ened. There was a positive correlation between the above phenomenon and the patient's age and disease. The plaque relevance ratio was 79. 06﹪,was significantly higher than the control group(30. 23﹪),the difference was statistically significant(P﹤0. 05). The rate of plaque in hypertensive patients of period 3 was 100. 00﹪. Conclusion:Ultrasonic examination can quickly obtain CADIA and CAIMT abnormality in hypertensive patients. At the same time, abnormalities of these two indexes may indi-cate arteriosclerosis in the patients. The number, characteristics and size of the plaque can reflect pathological change of arterio-sclerosis symptom.
