Abstract:Objective:To explore the clinical effects for the patients with benign thyroid disease by endoscopic assisted minimally invasive video - assisted thyroidectomy. Methods:All 80 cases of patients with benign thyroid disease were randomly divided into experiment group and control group,40 cases in each group, the control group were treated by tranditional thyroid, the experiment group were treated by endoscopic assisted minimally invasive video - assisted thyroidectomy. The surgery,post-operative temporary hoarseness, choking cough occurrence, postoperative neck recovery activities time, incision length,satisfac-tion of incision, incidence of complications were observed. Results:The operative time, intraoperatve blood soss, postoperative suction drainage ,hospital stays ,mean hospitalization cost for the experiment group were lower than the control group( P <0. 05). There had no significant difference on the temporary hoarseness, choking cough for the two groups(P > 0. 05). The neck activity time, incision length for the experiment group were lower than the control group(P < 0. 05). The rate of notch sat-isfaction for the experiment group were higher than the control group(P < 0. 05). The rate of complication for the experiment group were lower than the control group(P < 0. 05). Conclusion:It has good clinical effects for the patients with benign thyroid disease by endoscopic assisted minimally invasive video - assisted thyroidectomy, patients with surgery effect is good, time, length of incision, postoperative neck recovery activities is low,and high satisfaction of incision, low complication rate, good se-curity,it has high clinical application.
