The curative analysis of small incision between ribs for excision of thymoma

Abstract：Objective:To evaluate the clinical application and value of small incision to remove the thymoma. To analyze the influence of many factors on the prognosis of thymoma resection. To summarize the indication of the rib small incision to re-move thymoma indications. Methods:Select 45 case of thymoma who had thymus removed from January 2006 to January 2015, it is divided into three groups,one is accepted surgical operation in the middle of chest,the other is in rib small incision,the anoter way is called Video assisted thoracoscopic surgery. Each group has 15 cases. Through analysing multi - factor analysis of thymoma operation method. To finds the influential factors of Thymic tumor prognosis. Results:The operation time,amount of bleeding,postoperative hospital stay and postoperative chest tube in intercostals small incision group is significantly smaller than the median incision group(P ﹤ 0. 05),operative time in intercostals small incision group was less than thoracoscope group(P ﹤ 0. 05 ),blood loss,postoperative hospital stay and postoperative chest tube is greater than thoracoscope group(P ﹤0. 05). When α 入 = 0. 05,α 出 = 0. 1,Cox multi - factor analysis shows that:the organization type is the important factor which affects the prognosis. Concusion:Small incision between rib thymoma resection is feasible and safe. It is feasible for thy-moma which is not in the middle part and its volume is not too big. It has a intimate link with the pathological classification.
