Abstract:Objective:To investigate environmental endocrine disruptors(smoking and pesticides in 4 - vinylcyclohexene (4 - VCH))as one of the factors inducing women with premature ovarian failure. Methods:One of each pesticide plants, schools, private companies, institutions, village were surveyed random and stratifiedy at 3 towns and 2 townships in 9 Town and 4 townships of Dongxiang county. 32 cases of alone smoking and 64 cases of simple exposure to pesticides in patients with pre-mature ovarian failure were screened from 11,320 cases in the age of 19 ~ 45 years old women, and the proportion of incidence were calculated according to patient’ occupation, the number of packets per day of smoking, the contact fungicide time. VCH residues in peripheral blood and follicle stimulating hormone(FSH),luteinizing hormone(LH),estradiol(E2),progesterone (P)level were detected compared with 50 healthy volunteers,as well as correlation of VCH residues and sex hormones were analyzed. Results:The proportion of workers, farmers, cadres, the other occupations was respectively 27% ,36% ,16% ,21% ;≤smoking half a pack a day,the proportion of ≤1 package,≥2 package was 16% ,53% ,31% ;pesticide exposure time, six months,1 year,2 years,≥2 years was 8% ,19% ,28% ,45% in 96 patients with premature ovarian failure. FSH,P in patients of smoking and exposure to pesticides were significantly increased compared with normal,LH,E2 decreased significantly,in ad-dition to P outside(P ﹥ 0. 05),other differences were statistically(P ﹤ 0. 05). The correlated of VCH low residual volume,re-sidual volume, high residual volume, smoking and FSH,LH,E2,P in patients with smoking and exposure to pesticides residue analysis showed that FSH,P was positively correlated with VCH,LH,E2 was negatively correlated(P ﹤ 0. 05). Conclusion:The VCH in smoking and pesticides of the environmental endocrine disruptors is one of the factors inducing premature ovarian failure women.
