Analysis on the incidence of coal workers'pneumoconiosis in Fengcheng Mining Bureau

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the incidence of pneumoconiosis of workers exposed to the dust in coal mine and to provide scientific basis for prevention and contral of coal worker′s pneumoconiosis. Methods:The diagnosis of pneumoconiosis was made by the diagnostic team which is wualified for pneumoconiosis based on the criteria GBZ 70-2009,3 791 coal work-ers were involved who had not been diagnosed with pneumoconiosis before,the investigation time was in the second half of the year 2013. Results:Fidty-one of the 3 791 workers were diagnosed with pneumoconiosisⅠ,covering 1. 34%. The average age of the 51 workers was about(48. 5 ± 4. 2)year old and the average length of service about(21. 4 ± 6. 2)years. the results showed that the incidence rate of tunnelling workers was about 2. 05%,which was higher than brushers 1. 29% and auxiliary workers 0. 98% with statistical significance(P﹤0. 01)as for the lenth of service,the onset age of tunnelling workers was lower than brushers and auxiliary workers,with the statistical significance(P﹤0. 05). Conclusion:The incidence rate of coal miners is about 1. 34%,the incidence rate of tunnelling workers is higher than brushers and auxiliary workers,and the on set age of tunnelling workers is lower than other workers.
