The value of multi-slice CT in evaluating of pancreatic carcinoma and lymph node metastases

Abstract：Objective:To discuss the value of MSCT in diagnosing lymph node metastases of pancreatic carcinoma. Meth-ods:Eleven cases pancreatic carcinoma and lymph node metastases with were confirmed by operative pathology,the size,loca-tion,morphology,enhancement of lymph nodes were observated and analyzed,compared with pathological results,the sensitivi-ty,specific,consistent rate and Youden index of MSCT in diagnosing lymph node metastases of pancreatic carcinoma were con-cluded. Results:Lymph node metastases were most seen in celiac trunk,the superior mesenteric and para-aortic area second-ly ,the hepar - duodenum area at least . The sensitivity MSCT of lymph node metastasis of pancreatic cancer diagnosis was 95. 8%,the specific degree was 75. 0%,the consistent rate was 90. 6%,Youden index is 0. 71. Conclusion:It was a high accu-racy of MSCT in diagnosing the lymph node metastases of pancreatic carcinoma,and was important to evaluate the pancreatic carcinoma before treatment.
