The analysis on ventilator - associated pneumonia objective monitoring results

Abstract:Objective:To investigate the incidence and pathogenic bacteria of ventilator associated pneumonia,provide a sound basis for prevention and control of ventilator - associated pneumonia. Methods:Using the method of objective monitoring, the patients using ventilator were retrospectively analyzed from July 2014 to June 2015. Results:Sixty - six patients occurred infection in 372 patients using ventilator,ventilator - associated pneumonia incidence of infection was 17. 74% ,cases of infec-tion pathogens in the first place was acinetobacter baumannii,the second was escherichia coli next was staphylococcus aureus. Conclusion:High incidence of ventilator - associated pneumonia,the major pathogenic bacteria was gram - negative bacilli.
