Abstract:Objective:To discuss the feasibility of evaluating left ventricular with liver cirrhosis by anatomic M - mode and Tei index. Methods:To select thirty cases and twenty normal subjects;thirty cases were divided into three groups according to the Child - Pugh. To obtain left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),late flow peak(E,A)and E/ A ratio,E peak deceleration time(EDT). To measure isovolumic contraction time(ICT),isovolumic relaxation time(IRT),ejection time(ET)of left ven-tricular with anatomic M - mode for all subjects. Results:There is a statistic difference between normal controls and cases in Tei index, isovolumetric contraction index(ICT/ ET)and isovolumetric diastole index(IRT/ ET). and Tei index and related pa-rameters are more sensitive than traditional indexes with conventional echocardiography. Conclusion:The anatomic M - mode and Tei index provide a new simple testing method for evaluating left ventricular with liver cirrhosis.
