Abstract:Objective:To explore the clinical analysis of interlocking intramedullary nail and plate internal fixation of on 120 cases. Methods:All 120 cases of adult patients with femoral shaft fracture are selected from 2010 January to 2014 January in the first people′s hospital of Yangquan. They were were divided into intramedullary nail(70 cases)and plate group(60 ca-ses)according to treatment method. Results:The length of hospital stay, fracture healing time, average operation time,intraop-erative blood loss, incidence of superficial infection, delayed healing rate, nonunion rate, reoperation rate, the rate of internal fixation breakage, the rate of good postoperative function of two groups has significient difference(P < 0. 05). Conclusion:The treatment effect of interlocking intramedullary nails is better than the plate internal fixation for the treatment of adult femoral fracture. It can significantly shorten length of hospital stay, fracture healing time and average operation time, intraoperative blood loss. It reduces fracture healing time, superficial infection rate, delayed healing rate, nonunion rate and reoperation rate. It also improves the excellent and good rate of limb function. It is recommended that interlocking intramedullary nails should be widely used in the treatment of adult femoral shaft fracture in clinic practice.
