WEN Li-chun
Abstract:Objective:To discuss the effect of early cranioplasty for traumatic brain injury. Methods:Eighty - two cases with traumatic brain injury need ventriculoperitoneal shunt, from June 2009 to June 2014,according to the different treatment methods will be divided into control group and experimental group. Patients in experimental group were treated by early cranio-plasty,patients in control group were treated by late cranioplasty. To compare the clinical effect, preoperative and postoperative neurological function scores, complications in two groups. Results:Patients in the two groups were operated successfully. The clinical effect in experimental group better than control group, has statistically significant difference( P < 0. 05),function scores, complications in experimental group better than control group, has statistically significant difference(P < 0. 05). Conclu-sion:Early cranioplasty for traumatic brain injury can significantly improve clinical outcomes, improve neurological function and awareness, and fewer complications, high safety.
