The influence of continuated nursing care on patients with indwelling double "J" tube

Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effect of transitional care on patients with indwelling double "J" tube. Methods:All 238 patients with indwelling double "J" tube were selected in hospital from 2012 April to 2014 April. They were randomly divided into transitional care group and control group of each 119 cases. Patients in two groups were placed in double "J" then explained the significance and attentions of tube by the responsibility nurses to patients and their families. Transitional care group implemented nursing instruction by telephone,network and visiting. The patients were evaluated of self nursing ability and complications at discharged and after a month. Results:T the self care ability of transitional care group was higher than the control group after discharged a month(P < 0. 05). The difference has statistical significance. The incidence of complications was also lower than that of the control group(P < 0. 05). The difference has statistical significance. Conclusion:Transitional care can improve the self nursing ability of patients and reduce the occurrence of complications.
