Abstract:Objective:To observe the effect of dexmedetomidine on pulmonary function in patients undergoing radical sur-gery for lung cancer. Methods:Sixty patients undergoing radical resection of lung cancer were randomly divided into experimen-tal group and control group, the experimental group method using dexmedetomidine pretreatment, the control group using saline placebo pretreatment. The interleukin - 1β(IL - 1 β),interleukin - 10(IL - 10)of two group was detected in 30 min after one lung ventilation(T1),90 min after one lung ventilation(T2),1 postoperative days(T3)three point, and arterial blood gas analysis . Results :Compared with the control group ,T 2 ,T 3 IL - 1 β in the experimental group decreased significantly( P <0. 05),IL - 10 increased significantly(P < 0. 05). The alveolar oxygen partial pressure(PaO2 )of experimental group was sig-nificantly higher than that in control group after surgery, while alveolar partial pressure of carbon dioxide(PaCO2 )was signifi-cantly lower than the control group(P < 0. 05). Conclusion:Dexmedetomidine pretreatment can inhibit the expression of proin-flammatory cytokines, promote anti - inflammatory cytokine release, and can improve the postoperative lung function exchange, has certain protective effect on lung function in patients.
