Abstract:Objective:To study the role of CystainC( CysC)in the development of chronic heart failure( CHF)by chec-king the serum CysC with CHF,to assess the prognosis of heart failure. Methods:A total of 650 patients with heart failure from December 2012 to May 2014 in hospital were chosen. According to the New York heart association( NYHA)cardiac function classification standard, patients were divided into three groups:128 cases of NYHA Ⅱ,185 cases of NYHA Ⅲ,337 cases of NYHAⅣ,with 100 patients as control subjects. Results:The levels of serum CysC increased with the higher function of NYHA hert functional classification. The level of CysC had negative correlation with the ejection fraction. The CysC level and left ven-tricular end—diastolic diameter size were positively correlated. Conclusion:The CysC level associated with CHF,participated in the development, the occurrence of heart failure can indirectly reflect the severity of heart failure.
