The clinical curative effect radical surgery combined with cervical lymph node dissection on oral cancer

Abstract:Objective:To generalize the clinical curative effect radical surgery combined with cervical lymph node dissec-tion on oral cancer. Methods:The data about patients hospitalization,treatment methods and follow - up results of 92 cases with oral cancer from January 1988 to December 2010 were analyzed. Results:1,3,5,10 year overall survival rates were 73. 9%(68 / 92),65. 2%(60 / 92),60. 0%(42 / 70),41. 5%(22 / 53)respectively. Compared with other operation ways,the 1,3,5 year survival treated with adical surgery combined with Cervical lymph node dissection were significant improved . (P ﹤ 0. 01),Recurrence,metastasis and not cured accounted for 83. 9% of death cases,47 cases,(83. 9% ). The cases ac-counted for 4,3,2 due to Cardio - cerebrovascular disease,2 primary tumor,other causes,respectively. Most existing live 36 ca-ses,survival time has amounted to 24 years. Conclusions:Radical lesion resection combined with cervical lymph node dissection is mainly way for oral cancer,The survival rate is improved by postoperative radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
